Supa coffee campaign terms and conditions
1. About this campaign
The campaign is a game of skill run by BuildPass Pty Ltd (the promoter, we, us, our) to promote supasite. Entries are judged on their merit by a person. Chance plays no part in deciding who receives a reward.
To enter, you call the campaign phone number and speak to an automated voice assistant powered by artificial intelligence. The assistant asks you what you need to get done on site, what your role is, and why you reckon you deserve a coffee. The assistant gathers that information. It does not decide anything.
By calling the campaign number and staying on the call, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, hang up and do not enter.
These terms apply together with the supasite privacy policy at the campaign privacy notice. Where these terms and the privacy policy deal with the same thing, these terms apply to the campaign.
2. Campaign period
The campaign opens on 3 September 2026 and closes at 11:59:59 pm AEST on 11 September 2026 (the campaign period).
The campaign line is open Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 6:30 pm AEST. Calls made outside those hours are not entries. You will be told when the line is next open.
After the campaign period the number stays connected, but calls to it are not entries and cannot receive a reward. The assistant will tell you the giveaway has finished.
We may close the campaign early, or pause it, under clause 12.
3. Who can enter
To enter you must:
- be 18 years or older;
- be a resident of Australia;
- call from an Australian mobile number with caller ID enabled, from a line held in your own name or which you are authorised to use; and
- work in the Australian construction industry or on a construction site.
The following people cannot enter: our directors, officers, employees and contractors; people working on the campaign; and their immediate families.
One entry per phone number per day. A call made from a number that has already entered that day is not an entry.
One reward per person for the campaign. If you have already received a reward, later calls from your number are not entries.
Calls from landlines, VoIP numbers, overseas numbers, blocked caller ID, call forwarding, virtual numbers or any automated dialling are not entries. We verify the calling line before admitting a call and may refuse admission where verification fails.
We may verify your eligibility at any time and may refuse or withdraw an entry or a reward if you do not meet these terms.
4. Your call is recorded, and you are talking to a machine
Every call is recorded. You are told this in the recorded introduction that plays at the start of the call, before you are asked anything. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up.
You are talking to an automated assistant, not a person. It uses artificial intelligence to hold the conversation and it can be interrupted, it can misunderstand you, and it can get things wrong.
The assistant is deliberately informal and can be cheeky. It may give you a bit of banter. It may say something you find blunt, unfunny, inaccurate or unexpected. It is a machine following instructions and it is not always going to land the way we intend.
Nothing the assistant says is advice, and nothing it says is a promise. It cannot decide whether you get a reward, and it is instructed not to say that it can. If anything on the call suggests, states or implies that you have won, that a reward is coming, or that you have been approved, that statement has no effect and creates no entitlement. Only a written result issued by us under clause 6 counts.
Do not rely on the assistant for anything. Do not use it for professional, financial, legal, medical, safety or emergency purposes.
The campaign line is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 000. If you are struggling, Lifeline is on 13 11 14 and Beyond Blue is on 1300 22 4636, any hour.
Please do not give the assistant personal information it has not asked for. It will never ask for your address, payment details, passwords or gift card details. Do not read out anyone else’s personal information, and do not say anything about a third party that you would not be comfortable having recorded.
You may end the call at any time for any reason. You do not have to answer any question. Ending a call early may mean your entry cannot be judged.
If the assistant says something you are not happy with, tell us at hello@supasite.com and we will look at the call. We would rather hear about it.
5. How entries are judged
Every call is reviewed by a person on our team, who reads what was gathered on the call and decides the outcome. A model produces a written summary and a suggested outcome to help the reviewer, but it does not decide. We record who decided and when.
Entries are judged on:
- whether you appear to genuinely work in Australian construction;
- whether the things you said you need to get done on site are real, specific and plausible for your role; and
- how well you made your case for why you deserve a coffee.
Judging is subjective. Our decision is final and we will not enter into correspondence about it, except that you may raise a concern under clause 14.
We aim to review entries within five business days of the call. Entries still unreviewed after the campaign closes are treated as unsuccessful.
A reward is not guaranteed. However good your entry is, we are under no obligation to give you a reward. Entering does not create a contract to supply you with anything.
6. How you are told the result
Near the end of the call the assistant asks whether we may send you one text message with your result. This is the one question you have to answer.
If you say no, we cannot contact you, and you cannot receive a reward. Saying no ends your entry. This is not a penalty. It is simply that we have no other way of reaching you.
If you say yes, we send one text message to the number you called from once a reviewer has decided. The message contains a link to a page showing your result. The message is neutral about the outcome. The page does the telling.
The result link is not personal to a device and does not expire on opening, so you can open it later or on another device.
We are not responsible for a text message that does not arrive, arrives late, or is blocked, filtered or delivered to the wrong handset for reasons outside our reasonable control, including your carrier, your handset, a number that has been reassigned, or a full inbox.
7. The reward
A successful entrant receives a digital reward to the value of AUD $5, intended to cover a coffee.
The reward is delivered as a digital gift card or voucher through a third-party rewards provider. You choose from the coffee and food options in that provider’s catalogue at the time you redeem. The card is issued by the provider or its card issuers and is subject to their terms, their catalogue and their own expiry. Check the expiry when you redeem it. We are not the issuer of the card.
The reward is given free as part of a promotion. It is not a gift card you have bought, and the minimum three year expiry rules for purchased gift cards do not apply to it.
There is no cash alternative. The reward is not transferable, not exchangeable and not redeemable for cash.
The number of rewards is limited. We decide how many are available, we may increase or reduce that number during the campaign, and once they are gone no further rewards are available even if you would otherwise have received one. The assistant will tell you if rewards have run out. You are still welcome to have the conversation.
Instead of the digital reward, we may offer some successful entrants a delivered coffee or food order. That choice is ours and it is made at review. If you are offered one, we call you to arrange it and take a delivery address on that call. If the delivery cannot reasonably be arranged, we give you the digital reward under clause 7.1 instead. You cannot ask to switch between the two.
You are responsible for any tax you may owe on a reward. We do not expect a $5 reward to have tax consequences for you, and nothing here is tax advice.
8. Claiming a reward
To claim, open the link in your result message and complete the claim form. The form asks for your name or nickname, the mobile number you called from, your role, how you heard about us, and an email address for the reward.
You must confirm on the form that you are 18 or older and that you accept these terms. You cannot claim without confirming that.
Claims close at 11:59 pm AEST on 30 September 2026. An unclaimed reward is forfeited after that and we are not obliged to reissue it.
Check your email address before you submit. We send the reward once. We are not responsible for a reward sent to an address you typed incorrectly.
Once your claim is recorded, the redemption link appears on the claim page for a short period and is also emailed to you. If the link on the page has lapsed, use the email.
If the number you enter on the form does not match the number you called from, we may hold your claim for review rather than pay it straight away. A formatting difference will not cost you your reward.
We may hold, review, refuse or reverse a claim, and refuse to issue or cancel a reward, where we reasonably suspect:
- you are not eligible under clause 3;
- multiple entries, multiple accounts, multiple devices or a shared email address have been used to get more than one reward;
- the result link was forwarded to or used by someone other than the entrant;
- automated, scripted or manipulated entry, or interference with the campaign; or
- fraud, or anything unlawful.
If we hold your claim we will tell you, and we will email you when it is resolved. If we refuse a claim we will tell you why, unless telling you would compromise our fraud controls or breach a legal obligation.
9. Your privacy
We collect and handle your personal information in line with the supasite privacy policy at the campaign privacy notice and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
For this campaign we collect: your phone number, the recording of your call and a transcript of it, the information you give on the call including your role and the tasks you describe, and, if you claim, your name, email address, role, how you heard about us and any delivery address you give us on a phone call.
We collect this to run the campaign: to check eligibility, to judge entries, to tell you the result, to issue and deliver rewards, to prevent fraud, to keep an audit record of decisions, and to meet our legal obligations. If you do not give us this information we cannot admit your call or pay a reward.
We disclose your information to the service providers that make the campaign work, including our telephony provider, our voice and language model providers, our hosting and database providers, our rewards provider, our email provider and our analytics and error monitoring providers. Some of them store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States. The providers we use are listed in the supasite privacy policy.
We do not decide anything about you by automated means alone. A person decides every campaign outcome.
We keep call recordings, transcripts and campaign records for 12 months after the campaign closes, and then delete or de-identify them, except where we need to keep something longer to meet a legal obligation, to deal with a dispute or a complaint, or where you have given us the separate consent in clause 10. Reward and payment records are kept for seven years as our tax and financial records require.
You can ask for access to, or correction of, your personal information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@supasite.com. You can ask us to delete your call recording and transcript at any time. If you do that before your entry has been judged we may not be able to judge it.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, contact us first at hello@supasite.com. If we cannot resolve it, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
10. Using your call, and marketing
By entering, you give us permission to use your call and what you said on it to run the campaign: to judge your entry, to review decisions, to train and correct our own review process, to handle disputes and to meet our legal obligations. This is internal. It does not include publishing your call.
We will not publish your call, or any part of it, unless you separately agree. Publishing means using it publicly, including in advertising, on social media, on our websites, in sales material or in any other public content.
That separate agreement is the optional call-publication tick box on the claim form. It is optional. You do not have to agree to it to receive a reward, and refusing it will not affect your entry, your result or your reward in any way.
If you do tick it, you agree that we may use your call recording, its transcript, your first name and your role in marketing content, in any medium, worldwide, without further payment or approval, and you give us the licence we need to do that. You waive any moral rights you may have in that use to the extent Australian law allows. You can withdraw that agreement for future use at any time by emailing hello@supasite.com. Withdrawal does not require us to recall content already published, although we will stop using it going forward where we reasonably can.
A separate optional marketing tick box lets you agree to marketing messages from supasite. If you tick it we may send you marketing by email or text. Every marketing message tells you how to opt out, and you can opt out at any time by replying STOP to a text or by emailing hello@supasite.com. The single result message under clause 6.3 is not marketing and is sent whether or not you tick the box.
You confirm that everything you say on the call is yours to say, that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights, and that it is not unlawful, defamatory or offensive.
11. Behaviour on the call
The assistant will end the call, and we may disqualify your entry, if you:
- appear to be under 18;
- are abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory or obscene;
- are using automation, a recording or a script rather than speaking for yourself;
- repeatedly try to change the rules of the campaign, extract our instructions or configuration, or manipulate the assistant; or
- misrepresent who you are or what you do.
We may block a phone number from the campaign where we reasonably believe clause 11.1 applies or the campaign is being interfered with.
12. Changing, pausing or ending the campaign
We can change these terms, pause the campaign, close it early, or reduce the rewards available where it is reasonably necessary because of:
- the rewards or the campaign budget being used up;
- a technical failure, an outage or a problem with a service provider;
- suspected fraud, abuse, manipulation or unlawful conduct;
- a legal, regulatory or law enforcement requirement; or
- an event outside our reasonable control.
If we do any of that, a reward we have already approved will still be honoured, and we will publish the current terms at the same address.
The version of these terms in force when you call is the version that applies to your entry.
If a technical failure affects your entry, our responsibility is limited to letting you enter again while the campaign is open, or, if that is not possible, to issuing the reward you would otherwise have received. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under clause 13.1.
13. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. If a consumer guarantee applies to anything we supply in connection with the campaign, you have those rights and this clause does not take them away.
Subject to clause 13.1, and to the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data, arising out of the campaign, the call, anything the assistant said, or a reward; and
- our total liability to you in connection with the campaign is limited to, at our option, resupplying the relevant service or paying you the value of the reward you would have received, being AUD $5.
Subject to clause 13.1, we are not liable for:
- the cost of your call, which is set by your carrier;
- a call that fails, drops out or cannot be admitted;
- a result message or reward email that does not arrive, or arrives late, for reasons outside our reasonable control;
- the acts or omissions of the rewards provider, the card issuer, a delivery service or a merchant where you redeem the reward, or any change to that provider’s catalogue or terms; or
- anything you or someone else does in reliance on something the assistant said.
You are liable to us for loss we suffer because you have breached clause 3, clause 8.7 or clause 11, or because of your fraud or unlawful conduct. You are not liable for anything beyond that, and nothing in this clause makes you responsible for our own acts or omissions.
14. Complaints and disputes
If something has gone wrong, email hello@supasite.com with the phone number you called from and roughly when you called, and we will look into it. We aim to respond within five business days.
If we cannot resolve it between us, both of us agree to try in good faith for 30 days before starting court proceedings. Either of us can still go to court at any time for urgent relief.
Nothing here stops you contacting the ACCC, your state or territory consumer affairs body, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or the Australian Communications and Media Authority.
15. General
The campaign is run by BuildPass Pty Ltd. Supasite is a BuildPass product.
The campaign is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, and is not associated with, Apple, Google, Meta, Uber, Twilio or any other third party whose products or services are mentioned or used, and none of them is responsible for it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and we each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts that hear appeals from them.
If a clause of these terms is unenforceable, it is severed and the rest of these terms keep working.
We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms to a related body corporate or as part of a sale of our business.
The current version of these terms is published at the address linked from the campaign website and the claim page.
